Desk Calendar

I had so much fun making this desk calendar using the Summer Picnic Designer Series Paper in the Occasions mini catalog. I colored the ribbon slider using Pumpkin Pie classic ink and Crystal Effects. One of the things I like best about Stampin' Up! is how easy it is to coordinate your paper, ribbons and ink.

Our Tombow Multi Liquid Glue is great for gluing paper to metal. That's how I decorated the binder clip.

I hope everyone is staying warm and safe with our crazy Texas weather.

Accordion Tag Book

Accordion Tag Book

It's another book class! Learn to make this accordion tag book that can expand or shrink to fit your needs. You'll use SU's new Ginger Blossom paper, Hodgepodge Hardware and coordinating ribbon. We'll show you how to make several different styles of tags. This book has so many pockets, it works especially well as a money tree, autograph book or travel journal.

I originally designed this book for a friend's bridal shower. I asked guests to sign the different tags instead of buying cards. They added any money that they wanted into the pockets along with the tags.

Date: Saturday, March 22
Time: 1 - 4 p.m.
Place: Bedford, TX
Price: $30

Get a free roll of ¼ in. grosgrain ribbon if you sign up by Sunday, March 9.

Bring both sticky strip and regular adhesives. You may purchase these items when you sign up at a special price for class participants only. Free shipping and tax if you order these items when you pay for your class.

Sticky Strip $6.95
SNAIL $6.95
SNAIL refill $4.50

This picture is a little small to see that is Shelli Gardner's signature on the white tag in the pocket on the right. I took this book to SU's Leadership Conference and asked people to sign the tags. I'll eventually make this a memory book of Leadership 2008.

Sale-A -Bration

Sale-A-Bration

Stampin' Up's biggest promotion for the year, Sale-A-Bration, runs through March 17th. You receive free merchandise with every $50 order. Check out the flower box we will be making in our stamp club meetings this month. It uses two of the SAB sets.

On page 11 of the Sale-A-Bration mini catalog, you can see the butterfly box. My husband helped me draw the template for this box. As usual, I've ended up changing things around a little. Following directions exactly has never been one of my strengths!

Here are more details about Sale-A-Bration.
Customers: For every $50 purchase you make, choose a free Sale-A-Bration product. This year you can choose rub-on's!

Hostesses: In addition to our regular hostess benefits, you will receive a free Sale-A-Bration stamp set for workshops that reach $300 or more.

New Demonstrators: Anyone who joins as a demonstrator during Sale-A-Bration can choose any stamp set--a value of up to $47.95--from the current catalog. - PLUS - you can join Stampin' Up! for ONLY $159! (20% OFF!)

If you are interested in the Sale-A-Bration promotion or would like to make the flower box, please contact me at cheng1170@sbcglobal.net.

Hostess and Customer Appreciation

We held our annual Hostess and Customer Appreciation event this pass Saturday and it was so very nice to get together for a fun afternoon.

As a group with SC and Company we appreciate YOU the hostess for opening your homes and inviting your friends for a workshop. We appreciate YOU the customer for your support and shared delight in the Stampin’Up! product. Thank you from SC and Company.

These are pictures from the event. We had an awesome make and take (picture 1) where Sharon designed another awesome card. Several commented it would be their valentine for their sweetheart. Our demonstrators Judi and MaryCarmen were right there to assist in making the card.

We had retired stamps to sell and treats to eat. (picture 2) Wooo Hoooo door prizes were held all afternoon and everyone went away a winner. Even the young artists enjoyed making cards and eating treats!! (picture 3)

Again, thank you to our Hostesses and Customers for your shared love and support of the art of stamping.
Happy Stamping!!!

Leadership In Palm Springs

Hello, my name is Joni and I'm a member of SC and Company. I have been stamping for two years. I met Sharon through quilting and she would always invite me to her Stamp Club and I would run for fear of another project. I got to know a great group of women through scrapbooking and some of them were in Sharon's Stamp Club, so I took the leap and I LOVE TO STAMP. I became a demonstrator a year ago and celebrated it by earning a trip to Leadership in Palm Springs! I am so inspired by the Stampin' Up! family. Their principles, their support, and all the FUN! I definitely want to make it an annual trip. The picture is of Sharon and I on the Leadership stage. We took it after the general session. We both won stamp sets from the upcoming Occasions Mini Catalog. We brought some great ideas back from Leadership and we cannot wait to share them with everyone.
