Pizza Box Tutorial with Sharing Creativity and Company

This pizza box tutorial with Sharing Creativity and Company shows you how to make a quick and easy box that can be adapted to make many different size boxes.  A gift card fits in the Christmas Tree box perfectly!

The video tutorial also shows you how to make the Christmas Tree box and how to use Stampin' Up!'s Festival of Trees photopolymer stamp set and coordinating tree punch.

Be sure to watch my In A Minute Tutorial to make it easy peasy to score these boxes.

To make the Christmas Tree Pizza Box, cut a piece of cardstock 8 1/2 x 5 1/2.  Score on the long side at 1, 3 3/4, 4 3/4 and 7 1/2.  Score on the short side at 1 and 4 1/2.  Fold on the dotted lines and cut on the solid lines.  I like this size because it only uses half a sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 cardstock.  You don't end up with any scraps and a gift card fits in the box with extra room for a little treat.

For the Pumpkin Box, cut a sheet of cardstock to 9  1/2 x 5 1/4.  Score on the long side at 1, 4  1/4, 5  1/4 and 8  1/2.  On the short side, score at 1 and 4  1/4.

For the Rose Box, cut a sheet of cardstock to 11 x 6.  Score on the long side at 1, 5, 6 and 10.  Score on the short side at 1 and 5.

Enjoy making these boxes and decorating them to your heart's desire.  Who will be the lucky person to get your first pizza box project?

Christmas Stocking Stuffers

One of my favorite things about Christmas is making Stocking Stuffers.  Here are 7 different quick and easy Christmas projects that are perfect for Secret Santa gifts, teacher thank you's and adding to that stocking for someone special.

We made this mini gift box in stamp club.  It's perfect for holding a gift card along with some treats.

This little snowman pail can also be used for treats or a gift card.

These tags are quick and easy to make thanks to Stampin' Up! punches including the tree (135859 $16.95), star (133787 $16.95 for a set of 3) and scallop tag topper (133324 $22.95) punches.

This keepsake ornament will make a great tag that can be used to decorate your Christmas tree after opening your gift.

This burlap bag fits a gift card or cash and can be adapted to fit different occasions by changing out the snowflake tag.

You've probably seen the curvy keepsake box (135853 $32.95) decorated to fit many different occasions.  This little Santa box is perfect for Christmas!  Cindy Peterson made this one for a demonstrator swap.

OWH World Card Making Day 2014

These are the two "Love" cards that I made to celebrate World Card Making Day 2014 with OWH.  For my first card I wanted to use these quick and easy punch art birds and Stampin' Up!'s Flower Patch stamp set (134207 $25.95).

For the second card, I used one of my new stamp sets, Tap Tap Tap (134204 $18.95).  I colored the typewriter with Stampin' Up!'s Daffodil Delight Blendabilities markers ((130998 $119.5).

Which card is your favorite?

Here's the link to continue with the OWH bloghop.  Here is more information about donating cards to Operation Write Home.  OWH is a wonderful way to support our heroes who are stationed overseas and their loved ones.

For the punch art birds, I used Stampin' Up!'s bird builder punch (117191 $16.95).  Here is the video tutorial.

Thanks for stopping by.  Enjoy the rest of OWH World Card Making Day 2014.

Christmas Punch Art Birds Tutorial

The Wonderous Wreath stamp set and coordinating framelits have been one of the most versatile bundles in Stampin' Up!'s Holiday catalog.  This is my third project tutorial using the Wonderous Wreath bundle.  This time I've added these quick and easy punch art birds using Stampin' Up!'s bird punch.  While they work perfectly for this Christmas wreath, I'm looking forward to using this technique for other projects too.

Here is the video tutorial for making the punch art birds.  Check out my Wonderous Wreath playlist for other projects using the Wonderous Wreath stamp set and coordinating framelits.  Which video is your favorite?

Here is my first tutorial for using the Wonderous Wreath stamp set and coordinating framelits bundle.  This tutorial for making a garland using the Wonderous Wreath has also been a favorite.

Wonderous Wreath Garland Tutorial

Stampin' Up!'s Wonderous Wreath stamp set and coordinating framelits will help you create relatively quick and easy Christmas cards that everyone will ooh and aah about when they get one from you.  I made 12 of them for our September Stampin' Up! demonstrator swap.  Thank goodness the cards were quick and easy to make because I was making them the day before our swap.  LOL.

For this Christmas garland, you'll make the wreath and then cut it into 3 pieces.  This tutorial will show you how I cut the wreath apart.  I also share a tip on how to make die cutting the Noel a little easier.  When you have a detailed framelit like the Noel, it can sometimes be a little tricky to remove the paper from the framelit.  Watch how adding one common household item can make it faster to remove the paper after running it through the Big Shot.

This video show you how to make the wreath using the Wonderous Wreath stamp set and coordinating framelits.  When we made this card in stamp club, everyone comments on how the wreath was much easier to do than it looks.

And finally, this is how I made the bows for the garland.  There is also a framelit for a bow in the Wonderful Wreath Framelits Dies package (135851  $24.95) that you can use.  When you buy the Wonderous Wreath stamp set with the coordinating framelits, you'll save 15% on the bundle.  And if you don't already have one, the Sizzix magnetic platform is a must have item when die cutting with the framelits.  It makes it lining up the framelit with the stamped image a piece of cake!

Gratitude for Days Pocket Card

Stampin' Up!'s Gratitude for Days Simply Created Kit is designed to make a gratitude banner and can be used to make other projects including this quick and easy pocket card.  This was the favorite project from my August stamp club workshop.

It was easy to stamp the pumpkin and fall leaves on the card from the stamp set since they are photopolymer.  This video shows how easy it is to layer the stamps using Tangerine Tango for the pumpkin and Lost lagoon for the acorns and leaves.

Have you ever tried to tie a small bow and noticed that you end up with a lot of trim that is wasted?  My sister showed me how to use the least amount of ribbon or trim when tying small leaves.  This video shows a quick and easy way to tie these small bows.

To finish this pocket card, I added a die cut leaf in Hello Honey cardstock, and Give Thanks Banner.  You can see how to cut the banner tips with another IAM Tutorial.

Wonderous Wreath Tutorial

My stamp club members decided this was a quick and easy card thanks to Stampin' Up!'s Wonderous Wreath stamp set and coordinating framelits.  Making the Wonderous Wreath in a class setting went very quickly.  We learned that it wasn't critical that all of your leaves line up.  It actually looks more natural when you don't line things up exactly the same!

To make the Wonderous Wreath (say that quickly three times!), you will stamp three layers of the wreath.  Thanks to being clear photopolymer stamps, it's easy to see where you are stamping.  The stamps and framelits have a tab so you can easily see where the top is.  I marked the top of my paper too as you can see in this video tutorial.

Here is the picture tutorial showing all of the steps.

I also have tutorials for the curved sentiment and punch art bow.  There is a bow that comes with the stamp set and framelits that you can also use.  I liked the texture and dimension from the punch art bow.  And by the way, if you leave out the banner tips, the bow looks like one that Minnie Mouse would wear in her hair!

Quick and Easy Christmas Star Card

This quick and easy Christmas card uses the Bright & Beautiful stamp set and framelits bundle that is 15% off through August 31st.  Or you can get the bundle for free when you buy a Big Shot during this promotion!

Notice how the star has very thin real red edges?  This In A Minute tutorial shows you how to do this technique!  I like to use this edging technique when I want my paper embellishment to stand out a little more from the background.

I used the same Season's Greetings as a curved sentiment for this card

Saying Goodbye to the Carryover List

Stampin' Up! has several stamp sets, framelits and punches that are on a carryover list and will retire on August 27th.  There are several popular items on this soon-to-be retired list that you'll want to get while they are still available.  You can see the entire carryover list here.  Probably the most popular item with my customers was the Ornament Keepsakes Stamp Set (128051  $25.95) and coordinating framelits (127816  $24.95).  You can make different types of ornaments and flowers with this set.  One of the more elaborate versions is on this Christmas clothespin wreath.

This snowflake can be made using the Festive Flurry stamp set  (131791  $29.95) and coordinating framelits (132193  $24.95).  You can see the tutorial for making the bag here. The bag only uses one sheet of 8 1/2 x 11" cardstock.

This Christmas card uses Greetings of the Season (128033  $11.95) in such a cute way.

I love the big sentiments that come with Snowflake Soiree (127925  $21.95).  This card uses a
folded paper technique that is easy to do yet looks like you spent a lot more time putting it together.

Remember that the last day to order the items from the carryover list is August 27th. Visit my online store to get what you want for your next project.  Remember that when you purchase $25 or more in product, you are eligible for my Rewards Program.

Punch Art Santa Tag Tutorial

This Stampin' Up! Punch Art Santa Tag was inspired by the Star Santas that I used to paint when I did tole painting.  Thanks to the Star Framelits and punches, this is now a quick and easy project compared to painting a Star Santa.  LOL!

The video tutorial has more tips on how to make the tag and the custom ribbon.  Notice the small staples that attach the ribbon to the tag?  Stampin' Up! now has a handheld mini stapler.  WooHoo!

The words on the tag come from the soon-to-be-available Good Greetings Hostess Stamp Set.  More information will be coming on how to get that stamp set.  I love that font!  And as the stamp set says, it includes some really good greetings!

One thing I love about Punch Art is the seeing versatility of a punch.  Who would have thought that the Bird Builder Punch can make a wonderful Santa mustache!

Country Christmas Tree Card with Tutorial and Challenge

I made this Country Christmas Tree card for a demonstrator swap.  The challenge was that the project had to include some of Stampin' Up!'s designer series paper.  When I saw Andrea's project, I just had to CASE (Copy and Share Everything) it for this swap.  It was perfect for showcasing the Nordic Noel designer series paper in Stampin' Up!'s upcoming Holiday catalog.  Be sure to check out the challenge I'm offering to you at the bottom of this post.

The video tutorial includes the measurements and some tips for making this a quick and easy Christmas card.

Here is a close up of the Country Christmas Tree card.  Notice the Joy and Noel sentiments?  Those come from the Bright and Beautiful Stamp set.  I used the smallest star framelit to die cut the star out of Red Glimmer Paper.

Holiday Catalog Sneak Peek: Wonderous Wreath

At Stampin' Up!'s Convention 2014, we were able to play with several new products.  One of the items we got to try out was the Wonderous Wreath stamp set and framelits.  I made this card using the sample wreath I made at Stampin' Up!'s convention.  I'm looking forward to getting my very own stamp set and framelits to make more!

The Wonderous Wreath stamps are clear photopolymer so you can see where to stamp each layer.  The wreath is 3 layers.  Here is a picture of the layers from the display board at Inspire Create Share 2014.  After stamping, the wreath is die cut with the coordinating framelits.

Notice the curved sentiment, Season's Greetings?  This video tutorial shows you how to stamp the curved sentiment and make the punch art bow.

Here is the picture tutorial.  Notice how you can use the same photopolymer stamp for a curved or straight sentiment?

Swapping Stampin' Up! Style: Thank You Cards

Can you believe the wonderful variety of cards I received at Stampin' Up!'s Convention 2014?  The Work of Art stamp continues to be one of the most popular and versatile stamp sets in the new catalog.  Shirley Griffith made this card using three of the newest In Colors:  Mossy Meadow, Lost Lagoon and Blackberry Bliss.

Nichole Smith made this card using the same sentiment from the Another Thank You stamp set.

Cherie Hunt made this thank you card using the sentiment from Four You and the Moonlight Designer Series Paper Stack.

Rosemarrie Gonzalez made her card using the Hello There hostess stamp set and the All Abloom Designer Series Paper Stack.

This card by Katrin Lord uses the I Like You hostess stamp set.

Here is the Work of Art stamp set again in a patriotic-themed thank you card by Suzy Hatfield.

This card by Vicki Bell using the Work of Art stamp is one of the fastest cards you will ever make.  You pick a dark color, ink up the stamp once, stamp and then continue stamping down the card front without re-inking.  You'll get a quick and easy ombre look using only one color!  Vicki is in my downline and this quick and easy card was inspired by one that we made at our demonstrator retreat.
