Work of Art Christmas Tree

I was inspired to make this Christmas Tree card using Stampin' Up!'s Work of Art stamp set after getting the card shown below from Christi Beck at our demonstrator retreat.  If you know me, then you know that I "chenged" it up a bit.

This is Christi's swap card.  I just loved the simplicity of this card.  For my card, I stamped the tree slightly differently so that I didn't have to stamp with Old Olive as many times.  And then I got a little carried away with the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set and Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details.

Here is the picture tutorial for how I stamped the tree using various images from Stampin' Up!'s Work of Art stamp set.  If you prefer a video tutorial, I recommend Christi's tutorial.  The differences are that I put a mat around the tree, used Hello Honey as my yellow and stamped the top of the tree differently by angling the last image.

Here are some other cards that use the Work of Art Stamp set.

Work of Art Samples

Stampin' Up!'s Work of Art was by far the number one stamp set used for our June demonstrator swap.  Christi Beck made this wonderful Christmas cardI liked it so much I was inspired to re-make this card for my stamp club and a picture tutorial

Janet Holmes made this patriotic card using the same stamp set.  What a wonderful way to make a flag.

Here is Kim Judice's swap card. I love how the Blackberry Bliss really shows off the Deco Label

Debbie Hill made this card.  This picture doesn't really show how the gold foil and sequins make the card pop.

This was the Make and Take card that Christi taught at our demonstrator retreat using Work of Art again.  To make this card you start at the top and stamp off to get the ombre look.  So quick and easy!

It's amazing how versatile the Work of Art stamp set can be!  The clear-mount version is only $21.95.

Check back for more of the projects from our June demonstrator swap, new catalog samples and our Make and Takes featuring products from the new Stampin' Up! catalog!

Lullaby Zoo Babies

This baby card was made using Stampin' Up!'s Zoo Babies stamp set and Lullaby Designer Series Paper.  Hello Honey, one of the new In Colors, was perfect for the card base.  I designed the card for our June demonstrator swap.  While I normally don't do a project with fussy cutting for a swap, it went relatively quickly.

Here is an In A Minute video tutorial that shows you how to fussy cut around designs like this Zoo Babies giraffe.  Fussy cutting is cutting around an image like the giraffe on this card.

The banners go quickly when you use this technique for cutting the ends.  Here is an IAM video tutorial showing you how to cut the banner ends.

This is another card I made that uses the same layout.

What is the next project you want to make using fussy cutting or banners?
