This card was made using Stampin' Up!'s new Hexagon Hive Thinlits Die. I used the Quatrefancy Specialty Designer Series Paper because the design reminded me of a honeycomb and the Daffodil Delight color was perfect.
One tip when using the Hexagon Hive Thinlits (and most of the Thinlits), put a piece of wax paper between the Thinlit and your cardstock. Thinlits are intricate and sometimes it can be difficult to pop out the card stock after running it through your Big Shot. The wax paper gives a slick surface so it's easy to remove the card stock.
And whenever you are using a Framelit to die cut a stamped image, I highly recommend using Stampin' Up!'s magnet platform for the Big Shot. It makes it so easy to cut out the image without worry about things shifting around.
Notice the sentiment, "My Sweet Friend"? You can use the sentiments from the Six-Sided Sampler Stamp Set for many other projects beside ones that use the hexagon punch. I like the small size sentiments because they fit so many other punches and in small spaces like this card.
