Washi Tape in a Flower Shop

This card was made with some of my favorite products from Stampin' Up!'s new catalog including the Flower Shop and Banner Greetings stamp sets, the Pansy Punch and Gingham Garden Designer Washi Tape.  Check out the OWH Design Bootcamp to see how I used repetition as a design element when making this card.

I am attracted to bundles where Stampin' Up! has a stamp set and coordinating punch.  There are several stamp sets that coordinate with the pansy punch including Flower Shop.  With the Flower Shop bundle, you save 15% when you get the stamp set and punch together for only $28.75.  You'll be seeing other projects using this bundle.

Notice the dark outline around the flowers? That is the Rich Razzleberry mat showing through where I punched out the Whisper White card stock.  I then attached the flowers with a Stampin' Dimensional.

Washi Tape is one of my favorite new Stampin' Up! products.  It works like a semi-transparent, removable tape.  It's a quick and easy way to add color to a card without any bulk.

Such a pretty card Sharon and you did a great job of incorporating several of the design concepts we've talked about in the Bootcamps, including repetition, variation and the Rule of Odds. I like Washi tape but often find myself stumped at using it for anything more than a border, this is a super clever idea. Thanks for joining in on the June Bootcamp and sharing this with everyone.
