This card uses Stampin' Up!'s Summer Silhouettes stamp set, Epic Day This and That Washi Tape and coffee filter paper. I CASEd (Copy And Share Everything) the background for this card and added the butterfly embellishment.
Washi Tape is so easy to use. It is a removable tape that is easy to tear. Because it has a slick surface, I used Staz On to stamp the sentiment. Here are the 3 Washi Tapes that are sold as a bundle. Stampin' Up! will be adding more patterns in different coordinating colors.
The butterfly is made with coffee filter paper! After trying several different papers, I decided to go with coffee filter paper. If you've been following me for a while, you know it's one of my go-to items. I used the Elegant Butterfly and Bitty Butterfly punches. Remember when punching out coffee filter paper that you'll want to fold the coffee filter so that you are punching through multiple layers at the same time. Otherwise the coffee filter paper tends to tear when you try to punch it out.
I used two of the 2012 - 2013 In Colors that will become regular colors with the new catalog that starts in just a few days on June 1. Pool Party was one of my favorite colors so I'm glad it's staying. And it coordinates so well with Calypso Coral. The leaves are stamped with Crumb Cake which is a wonderful neutral color.
