Stampin' Up! Announces New Colors

Stampin' Up! announced earlier this week that they are changing up their color families with the new catalog that starts on July 1, 2010. Here are the changes.

10 RETURNING IN COLORS:

Baja Breeze, Pacific Point, Melon Mambo, Pink Pirouette, Rich Razzleberry, Riding Hood Red, River Rock, Soft Suede, Tangerine Tango and Wild Wasabi

5 NEW COLORS:

Marina Mist, Daffodil Delight, Cherry Cobbler, Cajun Craze and Early Espresso

1 RENAMED COLOR:
Kraft is coming back as Crumb Cake.

Here are some cards that show the returning In Colors. The first two cards were stamp club projects.

Tangerine Tango is the orange cardstock. The blue in the sky is Baja Breeze. Here is the tutorial I did for this card.

I received the next three cards in swaps.

While you can barely read Rich Razzleberry in the card below, it is the third circle from the top.

As for the new colors, I don't have actual samples yet. I'll post them as soon as they become available. In the meantime, here is a description of the colors.

Marina Mist: a blue that is in between Tempting Turquoise and Pacific Point
Daffodil Delight: a lighter version of Summer Sun
Cherry Cobbler: a red that is in between Riding Hood Red and Bravo Burgundy
Cajun Craze: a darker version of Really Rust and Dusty Durango
Early Espresso: darker than Chocolate Chip but not black

So, while there are 30 retiring colors, you have 3 months to stock up on your favorites.
