Fresh Cuts Card

I'm loving the new In Colors. I've already had to reorder the Pink Pirouette cardstock twice! And Baja Breeze goes with so many different colors.

One of my stamp club members, Rose, asked me to design a card using the Fresh Cuts stamp set. This is one of the cards that we made during her workshop. I stamped the main image in Always Artichoke and then used sponge daubers to add So Saffron, Pretty in Pink and Baja Breeze. I love how the So Saffron and Baja Breeze blend to make a beautiful green. And you can't see it on this card, however, the Pretty in Pink and Baja Breeze make a great soft purple. To make the petals on the flowers stand out more, I used a blender pen and pastel chalks to add a little Rose Red to the ends. It ended up being a relatively quick and easy card.
